In Brief

 

I am specialised in design, planning and implementation of technology driven strategies and business models in organisations in transition and with a global perspective.

 

Based on deep technical insight and commercial understanding acquired from influential positions in global operating companies sized from start-ups to multinational conglomerates, with the shared ambition of value-creating growth and with innovative technology driven project sales as the common nominator, I provide effective and sustainable solutions to complex business challenges.

 

Provide consistent, persistent and effective leadership with high drive and stamina, walking the talk while mastering change management in multi-cultural environments and the disciplines of the trade, also – and particularly - when the going gets tough. Firm believer in effective teams, good habits, simplicity in execution and doing the right thing!

Professional Career

Boving Horn – July 2011 to present

Personal owned company for investment, consultancy/advisory commissions and business development. The focus is strategy development, planning & execution; Product/concept development, verification and market introduction; business development & turn around commissions within renewables and energy efficiency. Co-Founder and Partner in CoGrow.

 

Capella Wind Coalision - 2013 to present

The design of the Capella Wind turbine is based on   a patented spooked generator for wind turbines. Boving Horn was commissioned to plan and execute a paradigm shift from technology development company to profitable global business. Coalision currently consists of Simply Wind Aps, Steelite Capella Wind and Antvorskov Renewables. 

 

EUDP / LEX – WP Manager - January 2014 to 2021 

Commissioned by Bladena Aps to be the work package manager for the commercial work package (Cost and Risk concepts) in their large EUDP supported development projects.

 

Bladena Aps, CEO and Co-founder - July 2011 to October 2013

Bladena is a spin-out from DTU based on 7 founding patents and a decade of unique research within failure modes and structural strength of blades for wind turbine generators.Key business is structural enhancement and up-tower retrofit of blades for wind turbines. Commissioned to prepare and execute the spin-out and to start-up the company (as a co-founder).

 

SSP Technology Aps, Sales Director - September 2009 to June 2011

SSP Technology – now part of Nordex - was an equity fund and founder owned €25m revenue company working within blade production technologies for wind turbines. Reference to the board of directors.  Recruited to prepare and implement full sales and market driven strategy plan based on a broader product portfolio backed up by acquisition of engineering companies and strong partnerships combined with a turn-around.

 

Banedanmark Entreprise, CEO - February 2007 to June 2009

Entreprise was the service and contracting division of Banedanmark (RailNet Denmark), now known as Produktion. The division had DKK 1bn annual revenue, 1000 employees and narrow restrictions in operation as regards employment/salary terms, governmental tendering rules and customer base. Reported to the executive team of BaneDanmark

 

Novenco A/S, MD and Group CEO - February 2004 to November 2006

Novenco A/S was a world leader within HVAC and Fire Fighting Systems for marine and offshore applications, employed 580 on 5 majors sites with annual revenue of €110m (2006).  Employed as divisional director for York Fire Fighting who was the upcoming global leader in water mist fire fighting equipment formarine, building and offshore applications.  Was promoted to CEO based on performance after less than 6 months

 

Howden Power North America, GM - August 2000 to July 2003

Howden is the leading provider of heavy duty fans and air pre-heaters for power stations,cement plans, mine, tunnel and metros and other industrial applications. Reference to the CEO of Howden Power. Tasked to improved performance and utilize the short termed boom in themarket. Tripled the revenue.

 

Howden Power A/S, GM Sales & Marketing - July 1991 to July 2000

Employed directly from school as application engineer for VARIAX fans and was continuously promoted to Product Manager, Area Sales Manager, European Sales Manager, Fans and finally General Manager, Sales and Marketing for VARIAX fans and member of the management team. From 1996 to 2000 responsible for all markering, sales, retrofits and service activities globally for VARIAX fans.
